Bio
Satyakam Saha is a Visual Artist and Architect from India.
An alumnus of the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, he co-led the design firm Ampersand in Delhi, working on a range of projects from architecture, graphic design and exhibit design. Satyakam then studied at The New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture, receiving the Milton & Sally Avery Foundation scholarship. He also worked as a studio assistant for New York artists and later as Assistant Director at The Renee & Chaim Gross Foundation, where his work included pre-production & curation of art shows, as well as managing operations and educational programs. Since his return to India, Satyakam has been working as a consultant at Daisies & Blue Skies, focusing on architecture & interior design projects in Sikkim and West Bengal. He also serves as a visiting professor and jury member at design institutes like the School of Planning & Architecture, National Institute of Design and United World Institute of Design.
Satyakam’s visual art work, including paintings and installations in multimedia have been exhibited extensively, in both USA and India. His work intersects architecture, visual art and education, exploring history, global affairs and philosophy. He lives and works in Greater Noida, India.
